My name is Cale Allan, and I’m a Registered Architect. I was born and bred on the Gold Coast, and my life has always been deeply rooted in the ocean. Spending my mornings out in the line-up catching waves has shaped not just who I am, but how I see and design buildings.

Surfing teaches you a lot about timing, patience, and balance, but most of all, it teaches you how to read and respond to the environment. Out in the water, you have to constantly tune into the wind, the swell, and the changing conditions. I bring that exact same instinct to my architectural practice. A building site is more than just a blank slate; it has its own natural rhythms, sun paths, and coastal breezes and limitations that we need to listen to and work with if we want to create a space that feels right.

My approach to architecture is simple, honest, and customised for everyday living. My goal is to make the entire design and building journey feel as natural, collaborative, and stress-free as possible for my clients. Building or renovating a home is a massive emotional and financial journey, which is why I work directly with my clients through every single step of the process.
